Parker's 4th birthday

Parker turned 4 on Wednesday, May 29th and we made the day very special!  We started off by going to the gym to play with friends, had a picnic lunch and swim with his buddy Jack and we ended the day with plans to play putt putt golf but the course was closed.  Luckily there was a driving range next door and Parker pointed us in the right direction, he was SO excited!  James had given his a cut down 7 iron for his birthday.  He kept saying..."I play with my REAL golf club".  The boy has a natural talent for golf and he is so much fun to watch!

Memorial Day Weekend!

I LOVE Memorial Day weekend for many reasons!  First because it's always Parker's birthday weekend and it's tons of fun to celebrate at the ranch with family and second, because it's the unofficial start to the best time of the year...SUMMER!!!  I love me some hot weather, pools and all the fun summer dishes and drinks to go along with it!  Mom and dad drove up to the ranch to celebrate with the Austin fam.  Parker had a blast celebrating his 4th birthday!

Field Trip!

Parker's little preschool class took a field trip to the Amarillo Botanical Gardens last week and Sydney and I tagged along.  It was so cute to watch Parker with all of his friends, they were so excited about their big adventure!

They had a lesson on butterflies...here he is coloring his butterfly and learning about symmetry.

So behind!!

Wow!  I didn't realize how much blogging was going to take a back seat with a new baby, but it has!!  I will get better, I promise!  I have several posts to do since BOTH kids are asleep, James is gone and I have some time to myself!  :)
We have been busy these past few weeks!  To start off, my sweet friends threw Miss Sydney Kate a sweet little sip and see.  The girls out did themselves, it was so girly and fun!

I am so blessed to call these girls my friends!  When we moved here almost 5 years ago, I didn't have a friend...God is good!!

One month

How did this happen?  My baby girl is already one month old!!  I wish I could slow time down!  ;)  Here are some things she is doing at one month old...

*Going to bed around 9 pm and waking up to eat around 2 am.
* Waking up again at 6 am to eat and then sleeping until 9.
* Going every three hours during the day to nurse.
*  I got my very first smile this week when I was talking to her!
* She loves to be swaddled tight to sleep at night.
*Overall she is a very laid back baby and such a joy!!

She rides in the Bjorn a lot, it helps us keep up with big brother!

She is well loved on!

Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there and especially to my mom!!  I love you mom, you're the best and I appreciate all you do and have done for me!  You're also the best Neesie my kids could ask for!  :)
My Mother's Day celebrations started on Thursday when Parker's class at preschool had a little MD tea, it was so sweet!  Today has been a day full of time with my kids and hubby...couldn't ask for more!

So I finally met Emily.  Parker talks about Emily all the time.  I knew she was in his class, just wasn't sure which one she was.  Well, guess who he was sitting by when I showed up to his table??  I think he is smitten!  ;)

I am so honored God chose me to be the mom of these two precious blessings!
